Overview

Use this page to create Product Variations on Purpl via the API. Fill in the placeholders and run the requests with your favorite REST client.

Prerequisites

• [ ] Identify your BASE_URL
• [ ] Obtain a Bearer TOKEN
• [ ] Decide the product name and optional description
• [ ] Decide the variant name (e.g., Size, Color, Duration)
• [ ] List the variation values (e.g., Small, Medium, Large)

Step 1 — Create the top‑level Product

Create the product that will hold the variations.

Authorization: Bearer <TOKEN>

• Action: Save the returned product_id.

Step 2 — Create a Variant (attribute)

Defines what varies between product versions (e.g., Size, Color, Duration).
